 If you are experiencing the "Fatal Exception" error when Weather Buddy launches, it is because Buddy is not compatible with the latest released version of Flash Player. At this time we only have a temporary workaround for this problem, and that is to uninstall Flash Player 9, and install Flash Player 8 again. The steps to do this are: 1. Open up Control Panel (Start --> Control Panel or Start --> Settings --> Control Panel) 2. Double click on Add/Remove Programs 3. Click on the Change/Remove button for Adobe Flash Player 9 4. Download Flash Player 8 by clicking here. You can Save it or Run it to install 5. Install the download If you still have Weather Buddy installed, it should begin working again on your next restart or launching of the program. You can download Buddy again and reinstall if you need to:  We realize this is an inconvenience to Buddy users. Sorry about this. We are trying to figure out what needs to change in the program with the Flash migration from Macromedia to Adobe. We will post a new version of the application when it's done. |
